+Impact Study Deep Dive: The Impact of Manifest Destiny on Indigenous Cultures

The First Deep Dive of the Semester kicked off this week with a visit to the Donner Summit Petroglyphs site. Here students began to question what the preservation should be like for historic sites like this, what the stories were behind these drawings, and what the native nations of this region experienced. Hiking around up there with high winds, and a fire in the distance made for quite the adventure, especially since the petroglyphs are hard to find!
