TAP Hike Honors Parent Volunteers

This past week, our parent association “TAP” (TEA’s Association of Parents) hosted a wonderful hike to honor our parent volunteers. The crew opted for the “trail less taken” off of the Crystal Bay Fire Lookout road with a beautiful backdrop of Lake Tahoe.
TAP knows that every parent does the best they can by offering time, ideas, connections, or resources.
This year extraordinary, completely new events were led and organized by volunteers including The Great Truckee Pumpkin Race, The Simple Mad for TEA Party and the Earth Day service project day.
There were other volunteer led victories too such as the Kreative Kids artwork fundraiser, pizza dine-in-days, Room Parents, and Photo Team. Wow.
On the hike, there were very heartfelt moments, laughs, and appreciations...
At the top of the hike, TAP celebrated these achievements. On the hike, there were very heartfelt moments, laughs, and appreciations as several parent volunteers were recognized by TAP for their time, ideas, and just raising a hand when the opportunity arose. There will be a few more volunteers recognized in the coming days.
Please join TAP in appreciating all of our amazing parents at TEA. And we would like to express our most sincere gratitude for all of the work TAP does to keep out “CommuniTEA” thriving.
And a special thank you to our TAP President, Sas Hadden, for the amazing craftsmanship she exhibited in the creation of the “TEA Towels.”
