The Hearth Ceremony at TEA

Every Friday afternoon, no matter rain, sleet, or snow, you will find our Elementary School CommuniTEA gathered together outside. And in the middle of this gathering of students, teachers, staff, parents, and experts you will find a student, sometimes as young as 3-years-old, proudly holding a talking stick while addressing the crowd. During their address, the student will express their appreciations. Sometimes for another student and sometimes for a visiting expert, but every time you will hear authentic words of gratitude. It’s one heck of a way to end your week.
