What Makes TEA Unique? A 2nd-Grader’s Perspective
What is school, and why are schools important?
Our 2nd-graders are studying the different ways people learn during their Schools and Community Learning Expedition. The students are seeking to understand what schools are and why they are important. They are also examining how schools around the world are unique. In the end, these 2nd-graders are coming to understand that schools around the world may be different or they may be similar, but they are all places designed for learning.
As part of their project, the students put this video together (with the help of our older TEA Films Program students) to explain what makes learning at TEA unique. And while their answers may seem scripted, we promise they came up with each answer on their own.
