Art Club

Visual Arts + Creative Expression

In this lower school art offering, young artists will explore creative expression through a variety of hands-on projects, guided lessons, and varied artistic mediums. Using colored pencils, watercolor, chalk, acrylic paint, dyes, and clay, participants will bring their ideas to life while developing and honing fundamental artistic skills.

Inspired by the natural world, students will create artwork featuring their favorite plants, animals, landscapes, and seasonal changes. They’ll also dive into abstract art and imaginative freehand drawings and paintings, encouraging personal expression and artistic confidence. Whether experimenting with bold colors or sculpting with clay, this class nurtures creativity and a love for the visual arts.

We’re thrilled to have talented artist Kelly McKay teach this offering. Kelly is a multi-talented, dedicated and fun teacher, who has instructed art club all school year.
