Tahoe Expedition Academy

Tahoe Expedition Academy is a co-educational Pre-K-12 school situated on 42 acres in Truckee, California, just minutes away from the beautiful Lake Tahoe. TEA, as we call it, is fully accredited by the  California Association of Independent Schools and the Western Association of Schools and Colleges. TEA was created to change the face of education and harness the infinite power of the next generation of problem solvers.

We employ a modern experiential approach that harnesses the power of Constructive Adversity to transform the lives of young people, pushing them beyond their comfort zones and enabling them to utilize collaboration, critical thinking, and creativity in tackling the world’s most pressing problems. Our students spend countless days and nights in the field every year, traveling to regional, national, and international locations to learn and develop as engaged global citizens.
